The Police report that there have been a spate of burglaries in rural areas where farms and stables have been targeted.
The incidents have normally occurred overnight and during the weekend and the offenders have managed to gain entry to properties by forcing the door locks or padlocks.
Property stolen has included horse tack, saddles, power tools, child's motor bike etc.
Owing to the amount of property stolen, the offender must have access to a large vehicle, and information suggests that a M registered red Transit van may be involved in these burglaries.
